Why am I doing this?

Well, for a few years now Rowan has been picking at me for the number of books that I own that I've never read. So, while Rowan is on exchange in France I'm going to attempt to read as many of them as possible. At last count, I have 58 books on the shelf that I've yet to read. Let's see how many of them I can get through by the end of next June.
